Conjugated phthalocyanine-ferrocene systems 1 and 2 have been prepared. Homo-dimetallic ferrocendiynyl-bridged bismetallophthalocyanines 2 show a stacked conformation of the macrocycles in solution. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
