摘要
The fact that application of the phosphate coatings facilitates cold formation of metals is well known. Depending on the type of cold forming (extrusion, drawing, stamping), various phosphating solutions are used. The deep drawing of tubes with a reduced wall thickness, when the drawing length is up to 50% that of the initial length, appears to be of great difficulty. Special phosphate coatings are used for this purpose. The combination with sodium stearate or other lubricants allows an item to be formed in one deep drawing step, without damaging the equipment. This paper deals with the influence of hexametaphosphate (HMF) on the weight (thickness), roughness of phosphate coatings and interaction with sodium stearate (NS). (C) 1998 Elsevier Science S.A.
