A tiling of phase-space through self-convolution

摘要
A novel tiling for Fourier half space is constructed using Erlang functions. This tiling is constructed by shifts in discrete-time and selfconvolutions in the Fourier domain. We show that a subframe of this complex wavelet family can be used for the detection and characterization of events (step and peaks) in one-dimensional (I-D) discrete-time signals.
