摘要
A simple method for color tuning of the phosphorescent OLEDs; where only control over the position of a perfluorophenyl substituent in (ppy)2Ir(acac) is required is reported. By introducing a perfluorophenyl substituent into the phenylpyridine ligands of (ppy)2Ir(acac) and by changing the position of the substitution, photoluminescence (PL) and electroluminescence (EL) spectra could be tuned to either a shorter or lnger wavelength, which resulted from the change of energy levels of the triplet metal-to-ligand charge transfer (3MLCT) state in the complexes.
