Phase transformation of microporous titanosilicate ETS-4 into narsarsukite

摘要
The thermal stability of the microporous titanosilicate ETS-4 has been investigated. It was found that the material undergoes partial structural rearrangement at ca. 200 degrees C followed by complete amorphization at 500 degrees C. However, at 600 degrees C a new layered material was formed, and then at 700 degrees C highly crystalline narsarsukite is formed. A mechanism is proposed for these structural changes.
