Examination of optimal design method using die press model (problem 25)

摘要
The optimal designs of magnetic devices were analyzed using various optimization methods such as direct search method, genetic algorithm (GA) and simulated annealing method (SAM). The factors affecting the convergence of various optimization methods, such as initial condition, temperature parameter of SAM were investigated using the TEAM Workshop Problem 25 (die press model). In SAM + Rosenbrock's method (RBM), the optimal shape is obtained using SAM and the result is approved using RBM. In RBM + SAM method, the optimal shape is obtained using RBM and the result is improved using SAM.
