Manganese in large numbers: The largest number of manganese ions ever incorporated in a polyoxometalate (POM) is found in a planar Mn 19-oxo-hydroxo magnetic cluster incorporated in a discrete 60-tungsto-6-silicate (see structure Mn yellow, O red/pink). The compound has interesting structural, magnetic, and electrochemical properties. © 2011 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
