摘要
The asymmetric anionic polymerization of N-substituted maleimide (RMI) with chiral ligand-organometal complexes was investigated by synthesizing the model compound for maleimide polymer. The model compounds were resolved to clarify configurational chirality of the polymer and relationship between specific optical rotation and N-substituent. The analysis of the nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra showed that the chirality of the model compound was affected by substituents bonding to asymmetric carbons of imide ring. Further studies on the topic were proposed to clarify the optical property of the polymer using model compounds with more suitable structures.
