In situ measurement of nano particle size distribution and charge characteristics in H2/O2/TEOS diffusion flame

摘要
The particle growth characteristics, the size distributions and the charging characteristics in the flame are studied using in-situ sampling probe. The particle size distribution in the diffusion flame depends on the distance from the burner tip as well as the flame temperature. The charge state reaches maximum near at z = 40 mm and then decreases as the distance increases for the small size particles. However, the particles larger than 50nm approach equilibrium charge state regardless of their sampling positions.
