摘要：

The benefits and installation issues of floating, production, storage and offloading (FPSO) electrical systems for deep-water development and production, are discussed. 300,000 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and 600 million standard cubic feet of gas per day (SCFGPD) can be produced by a large FPSO vessel. Background, drivers, power system configuration and electrical distribution system of the FPSO system are also discussed. It is suggested that for the successful execution of the new projects, the collection and review of applicable past lessons learned is essential.
