Dynamic magneto-optical response of ferronematic liquid crystals

摘要：

We study the time-dependent orientational response of a nematic liquid crystal doped with single-domain ferromagnetic particles. A set of coupled macroscopic equations describing evolution pf the director texture, magnetization distribution and concentration of the particles under the change of the external field is derived. For the case of a plane layer, expressions for the main relation rates are obtained and analyzed.
