摘要
A novel humidity optical fibre sensor have been developed using an hygroscopic material (CoCl2), deposited on the thinner zone of a biconically tapered single mode optical fibre. Relative humidity variations from 40 % to 90 % have been detected producing up to 5dB output optical power change.
