摘要
(Figure Presented) Swiss cheese, Gromit! A new class of solids of widely variable composition has essentially the same crystal structure reminiscent of Emmental cheese (see picture). The presence of the roughly spherical holes in the structure, which are large enough to enclose around 200 water molecules, is a consequence of the edge-to-face agglomeration of 12 fluorene units into pseudospherical clusters. © 2007 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
