摘要
The dissolution behavior of complex precipitates formed during and after various deformation process was investigated. EDX analysis was used to detect precipitates containing titanium and niobium, which have been found at reheat temperatures up to 1250 °C. Elemental mapping has shown that the base cube is titanium nitride, whereas the niobium is mainly situated in caps sitting on the cube or in layers surrounding the cube. The presence of niobium containing precipitates after reheating at these temperatures contradicts the dissolution temperatures calculated using published solubility data.
