Single crystals of phosphoric-acid-doped triglycine sulfate (TGSP) were grown from aqueous solutions with various concentrations of H3PO4 in the ferroelectric phase. The development of crystal faces is gradually modified as the concentration of H3PO4 in the solution becomes higher. In particular, the {010} faces become more conspicuous with greater doping. A high number of H3PO4 molecules are incorporated into the {010} growth sectors. The general crystal form shows the nonpolar 2/m symmetry similar to that of pure TGS, due to its multidomain structure.
