摘要
An experimental, mobile mixed-reality game called Can You See Me Now? was deployed for studying the uncertainity realted to the location-based games. A position validation scheme to filter out situations that would place runners in impossible locations, was implemented in order to hide uncertainity's effects. It is suggested that runners worked better with uncertainity once they had a working knowledge of its presence and characteristics, and for this information about estimated GPS error and connectivity on their PDA interface was provided. The features and application of more advanced strategies for the development of another game called Uncle Roy Around You is also discussed.
