Electron transport in nano-porous TiO2 films and its effect on dye-sensitized solar cells

摘要
Electron transport properties in nano-porous TiO2 films were evaluated by pulsed-laser-induced photocurrent measurements to optimize the films for dye-sensitized solar cells. The films prepared from nano-sized TiO2 suspension were annealed at 150, 350, 450, and 550 degreesC. Apparent diffusion coefficients obtained for the samples annealed at 550 degreesC showed the highest diffusion coefficient. The highest Isc value was observed for the dye-sensitized solar cell using the film annealed at 550 degreesC, indicating the importance of electron transport therein.
