摘要
(Chemical Equation Presented) Back and forth like a metronome is how the carbene moiety swings in a dual-site catalyst which produces a predominantly alternating copolymer of norbornene and cyclooctene from a one-pot reaction of appropriate mixtures of the two monomers (see scheme). The alternating sequence of the polymer was confirmed by NMR spectroscopy and gel-permeation gravimetric analysis. © 2005 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
