摘要
Routine laboratory tests used to screen for liver disease and to follow its course include serum aspartic aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase, alkaline phosphatase, protein electrophoresis, prothrombin time, and bilirubin levels. The transaminase have a short half-life and therefore give a day-by-day account of hepatocellular injury and death. Alkaline phosphatase reflects the amount of cholestasis. Albumin and prothrombin mirror hepatic synthetic function. Bilirubin excretion requires transport across membranes, travel through the cell, conjugation, and energy and thus may be the best available test of overall liver function.
