In two-dimensional (2D) structures, due to charge carrier's mobility dependence on direction, the rate of Langevin recombination must be different in comparison with the three-dimensional (3D) case. In this work we determine the relaxation of charge carrier's density in the case of 2D Langevin recombination. Experimental data from photo-CELIV (extraction of photogenerated charge carriers in a linearly increasing voltage), double injection current transients and integral time-of-flight methods proves presence of 2D Langevin recombination in lamellar structure of regioregular poly(3-hexylthiophene) (RR-P3HT).
