Application of a linear free energy correlation to actinide mononitrides

摘要
A linear free energy correlation model was developed to correlate the standard formation of free energy with thermodynamics of corresponding metal cations. The formation of free energies of isostructural intermetallic compounds was calculated using Sverjensky's equation. The linear free energy correlation was found to be a useful tool for predicting the Gibbs free energies of formation of AnN within an isostructural family.
