Site-selective spectroscopy of Nd3+ in lanthanum magnesium hexaaluminate LaMgAl11O19 single crystals

摘要
Spectral and dynamical properties of the F-4(3/2) fluorescence of Nd3+ in LaMgAl11O19 (Nd : LMA) crystals have been analysed by site-selective laser spectroscopy at low temperature. Three or four different Nd3+ sites, with distinct relative contributions, have been characterized for two LMA crystals, grown from stoichiometric and congruent melts, respectively.
