T-matrix method for general star-shaped particles: First results

摘要
The T-matrix method has almost exclusively been applied to rotationally symmetric particles. We have implemented a computer code which can handle any homogeneous, starshaped particle. General T-matrix expressions are presented in a form suitable for computer code generation. Simple scattering problems are solved in order to show the capability of this method.
