摘要：

Star-shaped mesogens with long semiflexible oligoester arms up to the fifth generation and a shell of aliphatic dodecyloxy chains self-assemble in columnar mesophases. Different conformers may be envisaged, which can provide a dense packing and migrosegregation of different molecular parts.
