摘要
A systematic study of the humidity sensing properties of boron phosphate indicates promise as a humidity sensing material. A resistance change from 10(11) to 10(6) Omega with change in relative humidity from 35 to 90% with a superior slope indicates high sensitivity and this along with the linear behavior suggests its applications in this humidity range. Morphological characterization using scanning electron microscopy suggests the importance of grain size in controlling the sensitivity. In boron phosphate, humidity sensitivity largely depends on the optimization of the preparation parameters and more significantly the variation of boron/phosphorus ratio.
