Small particles of barium hexaferrite (BaFe12O19) were synthesized by thermal decomposition of precursors obtained by a new coprecipitation method. The influence of precursors' history upon their thermal behavior and phase composition evolution were investigated. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
