Enantioselective catalytic aziridinations and asymmetric nitrene insertions into CH bonds

Three different approaches for catalytic azirdinations were developed: nitrene transfer to olefins, carbene transfer to imines via metal carbenes, and carbene transfer to imines via chiral sulfonium ylides. As such, substantial progress was made with respect to all these approaches. Further research should focus on catalysts tailored to specific substrates and reagents and develop the approaches into synthetically interesting methodologies.
