摘要：
The article discusses the future of Fortran. Fortran has been designed for efficient scientific and technical computing on a wide variety of processors. The revisions are designed to make it easier to write and maintain significant programs and move them from one platform to another. The most important features of the latest revision are more support for allocatable arrays, interoperability with the C programming language and data enhancements, including object-oriented programming.
