Wavelength tunable 1.0ps pulse generation in 1.530-1.555μm region from PLL, regeneratively modelocked fibre laser

摘要
A 1.0-1.1 ps pulse train at 10GHz in the 1.530 to 1.555 mu m wavelength region has been successfully obtained from a regeneratively modelocked fibre laser. The laser was locked to an external signal by operating a phase-locked loop. The tracking range was greatly extended from 100kHz to 1MHz by controlling the temperature of the fibre bobbin in the cavity.
