摘要
A variety of approaches for generating moving adaptive methods are summarized and compared. They basically fail into two groups: the velocity and the location based methods. The features, including the advantage and weakness, of each group are addressed. Brief numerical results are presented for several commonly used approaches to highlight their features and performance. (C) 2003 IMACS. Published by Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
