Various topics in condensed matter physics are cited as potential beneficiaries of non-destructive 100 T magnets now being designed. These include layered systems, metals, superconductors, semi-metals, narrow gap and doped semiconductors, as well as systems of spin-polarized superstructures, real space Cooper pairs, and bipolarons.
