Diffusion of Brownian particles trapped between two walls: Theory and dynamic-light-scattering measurements

摘要
We show that the diffusion constant of Brownian particles trapped between two walls can be derived by an extension of the single-wall reflection technique. This implies taking into account multiple backflows and leads to results in excellent agreement with our dynamic-light-scattering experiments from colloidal suspensions in a controlled and adjustable confined geometry.
