摘要
The study focuses on the investigation of the hydrostatic pressure effect on the phase transition kinetics in ferroelectric KNbO3. We discuss the interfacial kinetics within an exactly soluble mean-field model which is the time-dependent Ginzburg-Landau theory. We propose here to use this model for studying the pressure-induced motion of the interphase boundary in KNbO3. The calculations are done on the basis of the experimental data, with some important missing parameters being calculated it ab initio in the framework of the full-potential linear muffin-tin orbital method.
