Cutaneous manifestations of adverse drug reactions

Virtually every drug has the potential to cause an adverse reaction. It is not surprising that the skin, being the largest organ of the body, is the most likely organ to manifest those adverse reactions. Understanding the varied mechanisms of adverse reactions that a drug can elicit and the limited ways the skin can react to the implemented mechanisms are categorized, and a plan to manage and avoid the adverse reactions is presented.
