摘要：
A new genetic test will soon hit the market, which could help an individual to determine the risk of getting Alzheimer's disease. The new test will be done by collecting samples of salive, and the gene APOE would be evaluated to find the risk of Alzheimer's. Two copies of the deleterious E4 allele are found to confer a roughly 15 times increased risk of the disease. Genetic test would help in determining the presence of the alleles.
