摘要
An account of the meltdown of sea ice and glaciers in the Arctic is presented. The total area covered by sea ice has shrunk by 3 percent during each of the past three decades. In regard with it, the effect of the greenhouse warming on the meltdown of ice in the Arctic is also discussed.
