Critical thinking, defined as purposeful self-regulatory judgment is centrally evident in nursing knowledge development and expert clinical judgment. Ideally, critical thinking becomes a habit of mind, a part of one's character. How do we develop this habit of mind that will support excellence in knowledge development?
