Double-template synthesis of US nanotubes with strong electrogenerated chemiluminescence

摘要
The stable and highly enhanced ECL from as-prepared CdS nanotubes composed of highly compacted nanocrystals and a double-template method for the fabrication of hollow structures were investigated. The XRD pattern of the as-prepared CdS nanotubes was found to be consistent with the hexagonal CdS structure. The morphology and microstructure of the CdS nanotubes were characterized by TEM and SEM measurements. It was observed that the light emission showed quite good stability and enhanced intensity. The ECL behavior of the CdS nanotubes at a carbon paste electrode in aqueous solution was studied under conventional cyclic voltammetry. The CdS nanotubes composed of compact nanocrystals exhibited a strong ECL, which might find useful applications in biodetection.
