摘要
The method of using the ability to fabricate a solid-state dye-sensitized solar cell using a porous porous TiO2 layer made with a porous layer-by-layer (LbL) thin-film sacrificial template is described. The TiO 2 network can be sensitized by light-harvesting dye, and ion-conducting polymer composites, that can fill the porous inorganic framework. The method described for the construction of the TiO2 network can be tailored using closely controlled porosity transitions in the multilayer composites to produce porous inorganic materials with pore sizes, that span the size regime from nanometers to micrometers and improve the conducting capabilities of the TiO2 film. After construction of the porous TiO2 network and filling with the multilayer composite electrolyte, solar cell is constructed using a platinized conducting glass counter electrode and the testing is performed.
