摘要：

Discriminant analysis was used to compare users and non-users of senior centers in two samples of older adults. The model accurately classified 70-80% of the two samples. This was the first study to cross-validate findings both within and between samples. Included in the model were variables from four domains: predisposing, enabling, need, and linkage to the older adult service system. Variables measuring linkage to the service system explained more variance than any of the other variable domains.
