Spin fluctuation nearby magnetically unstable point in Li1-xZnxV2O4

摘要
Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) for Li-7 nuclei was performed in vanadium spinel Li-1_xZnxV2O4 (0 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 0.4) from 4.2 to 300 K. The relaxation rate (1/T-1) and the linewidth for a paramagnetic metal LiV2O4 take the maximum at 50 and 20 K, respectively, whereas those for x not equal 0 samples show monotonous increase with decreasing temperature toward a spin glass order which appears at about 15 K. These qualitative differences with respect to Zn concentration were investigated in relation to a metal nearby the ferromagnetically unstable point. [S0163-1829(99)05109-7].
