Petunidin 3-O-α-rhamnopyranoside-5-O-β-glucopyranoside and other anthocyanins from flowers of Vicia villosa

摘要
Three anthocyanins were isolated from the acidified methanolic extract of blue flowers of Vicia villosa Roth (hairy vetch) by a combination of ion-exchange resin and gel filtration. Mostly on the basis of homo- and heteronuclear two-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance techniques, their structures were elucidated to be the 3-O-alpha-rhamnopyranoside-5-O-beta-glucopyranosides of petunidin (71%), delphinidin (12%), and malvidin (9%), respectively.
