摘要
Two withanolides, 28-hydroxywithanolide E and 4 beta-hydroxywithanolide E, the former being new, have been isolated from the calyces of Physalis peruviana. The structure of the new compound was determined primarily on the basis of extensive 1D and 2D NMR spectral analysis, notably C-13 PENDANT, COSY 45, HMBC and HMQC.
