Novel method for the preparation of polymeric hollow nanospheres containing silver cores with different sizes

摘要
A photoreduction method for producing a novel core-shell nanostructure of polypyrrole-chitosan hollow nanospheres containing Ag nanoparticles was described. In this method hollow nanospheres were prepared before the introduction of the core materials and the formation of Ag core was achieved by an ultraviolet irradiation technique. The crystalline structures of the hollow nanospheres and Ag core-shell nanosphere were analyzed using X-ray diffraction. It was found that the surface plasmon absorption of Ag core-shell nanoparticle could be simply tuned in the range of 399.5-455 nm by simply changing the size of Ag nanoparticles.
