摘要
An airport operates like a complicated factory. Any matter that may occur in any situation can directly be a restrictive factor for the capacity of the airport. It is necessary to establish a model in which the time is considered from the time a plane lands until passengers get out of the airport. In this study, the capacity analysis of an international airport has been carried out by using the fuzzy logic method. Analysis has been performed for the check-in unit of the airport which hosts many passengers intensively. The results have shown that number of counters can be calculated to provide passengers suitable and facilitated transportation. The fuzzy logic model proposed in this study predicts the functional time depending on the number of passengers and luggage's affecting the capacity. (c) 2008 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
