摘要
The isotherms of the adsorption of water and tetrachloroethene (TCE) on dealuminated Y and ZSM-5 zeolites have been drawn at 25 degrees C to characterize the hydrophobic/organophilic properties and the porosity of the adsorbents. The amounts of solvent adsorbed in pure vapor phase or in the room atmosphere differ only slightly because of the hydrophobic character of the adsorbents. Such hydrophobic dealuminated zeolites show a high capacity for TCE adsorption. Contrary to activated carbon, a TCE saturated dealuminated Y faujasite can be completely regenerated at low temperature (T<100 degrees C). Thereby it would be interesting to be used for solvent recovery.
