摘要
The object of this investigation was the removal of NO and NO2 from simulated exhaust gases (N-2:O-2:CO2:NO2; N-2:O-2:NO) by DC and pulsed corona discharges in reactors simulating a segment of an electrostatic precipitator whose collecting electrodes are irrigated by water. For this purpose two reactors were employed: one had a usual wire-to-plate geometry, the second a multineedle-to-plate geometry. The plates in both reactors were covered by a water film. The results show that an efficient removal of NO and NO2 from exhaust gas by DC or pulsed corona discharges can be obtained by irrigating the collecting plates of an electrostatic precipitator with water. It suggest that an efficient DeNO(x) can also be obtained by a suitable electrode arrangement and a suitable energization in wet precipitators. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
