摘要
Mesoporous fibers grown in a slow acidic synthesis consist of hexagonally ordered pores which are running in a circular direction around the fiber axis. This novel pore architecture contradicts the commonly assumed pore arrangements and requires a rethinking of the formation mechanisms previously proposed. It is suggested that circular structured seeds play the key role in the formation mechanism for these fibers. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
