Ultra-wideband P-3 and CARABAS II foliage attenuation and backscatter analysis

摘要
Two-way foliage attenuation measurements from UHP and VHF SAR images collected from several U.S. forests and an empirical model of two-way attenuation versus center frequency are presented. Comparisons of UHF and VHP clutter backscatter coefficient distributions are made for different forest areas and terrain slopes. UHP two-way attenuation and backscatter coefficient statistics are presented for different polarization channels.
