摘要
A new xanthone named demethylpaxanthonin, 1,2,5,6,tetrahydroxy-2-2',2'-dimethyl-4'-isopropenyl)-cyclopentanyl-xanthen-9-one, has been isolated from the callus tissues of Hypericum patulum together with the known compounds padiaxanthone and tripteroide. Their structures were elucidated by spectral techniques.
